Beauty and Balance

Barcelona-born Carles Guitart seeks beauty in art as an essential objective, achieving balance in his compositions and moving the viewer. He uses not only paint, pencil and intaglio ink, but also coffee, red wine and food coloring, creating unique works with free strokes, dots, and urban tile prints. Influenced by Joan Miró and Sean Scully, Guitart combines painting with illustration, printmaking and sculpture, using any medium that allows you to modify reality and advance your artistic expression.
